Our role

RealEstateSite Africa is an online property advertising and listing marketplace. We provide listing, advertising, search, profile and enquiry tools only.

We do not act as a property agent for any user, do not negotiate or conclude transactions, do not hold deposits, rent, escrow or any client money, and do not provide legal, valuation, survey or financial advice.

We do not guarantee ownership or title, the accuracy or availability of any listing, the identity or licensing of any advertiser, the availability of financing, or that any transaction will complete.

Using the platform

You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information about yourself and any property you advertise.

You may not post duplicate, misleading, fraudulent, unlawful or discriminatory listings, or advertise property you have no authority to market.

We may edit, reject, unpublish, suspend or remove any listing or account at our discretion, including where a listing appears inaccurate, duplicated or fraudulent.

Advertiser and agent responsibility

Advertisers are solely responsible for the legality, accuracy and completeness of their listings, prices, photographs, availability and contact details.

Agents, agencies and developers must accurately identify themselves and hold any registration or licence required to carry out their activities in Kenya.

Advertisers must respond honestly to enquiries and must not request payments for viewings, 'reservation' of a property, or any service that they cannot lawfully provide.

Pricing

Standard listings, seeker profiles, agent, agency and developer profiles and enquiries are currently free in Kenya.

Any paid product will be clearly priced in Kenyan Shillings (KES) before purchase. No paid product is available in Kenya at this time.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Kenyan law, we are not liable for losses arising from your dealings with any advertiser, buyer, tenant, landlord or third party introduced through the platform.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya.
